Martin Avenue Apartments to Celebrate 40th Anniversary

Martin Avenue Apartments will be hosting their 40th Anniversary at Meson Sebika on October 10. The event will be a celebration of the past four decades of servicing low income elderly population and persons with disabilities.

“Martin Avenue Apartments provide such a needed space for the low-income seniors in our community. I’m so proud to be celebrating our 40th anniversary and beyond thankful for the support of the community that makes what we do possible,” said Reverend Kenneth Lehman, who served on the original board of directors.

The Martin Avenue Apartments offer a gracious and friendly place for seniors or disabled on a limited income to live. Those 62 or older or persons with disabilities can enjoy a modern, reasonably priced rental apartment in the handsome Martin Avenue complex. A government-subsidized, nonprofit housing center, Martin Avenue offers 121 apartments: 81 studios and 40 one bedroom apartments. Residents also enjoy thoughtful amenities, specially designed for active senior lifestyles.
